Chemicals, environmental allergens, vaccinations, immunizations, etc. are treated after completing the Basic 15 essential nutrients and substances. NAET can successfully alleviate adverse reactions to egg, milk, peanuts, aspirin, mushrooms, latex, grass, ragweed, flowers, perfume, animal dander, make-up, chemicals, cigarette smoke, pathogens, heat, cold, and other environmental agents. It may take several office visits to desensitize a severe allergen.
One allergen is treated at a time. If you are not severely immune deficient, you may need just one treatment to desensitize one allergen. A person with mild to moderate amount of allergies may take about 15-20 office visits to desensitize 15-20 food and environmental allergens. A typical NAET first visit will take about 1 1/2 hours. All subsequent visits are approximately 30 minutes unless additional testing is necessary. The patient must plan to avoid the substance for which they are being treated for 25 hours directly following the treatment. Treatments are usually scheduled once per week, although there are instances when a person may be able to clear items more quickly and can schedule 2 visits per week to accelerate the healing journey. Many people have noticed a complete elimination of their symptoms that do not return, even years later.
Traditional lab work can help determine what food or environmental allergies exist for each patient. If you have already completed this lab work with an allergist or immunologist, please bring those results with you. Additional lab tests may be ordered for you if necessary. Genetic testing is available and can be helpful to reveal underlying metabolic pathway deficiencies that may lead to inappropriate immune responses.
Correcting chronic digestive issues such as leaky gut syndrome or hypochlorhydria is often achieved with supplementation of high quality spore based probiotics and other nutritional supplements. Food therapy, herbal and nutritional supplementation is determined based on each person’s individual need.
