Eastern Medicine Meets Western Medicine

Eastern Medicine Meets Western Medicine - Doctor Kathy Veon - A Great Integrative Medicine & QRA (Quantum Reflex Analysis) Holistic Doctor that discusses this topic for your healing.Eastern Medicine Meets Western Medicine written by Doctor Kathy Veon. Integrative Medicine incorporates the very best wisdom from older and more established medical systems such as Homeopathy, Chinese medicine, and Ayurvedic medicine with modern diagnostic measures such as traditional and specialty labs which focus on a quantitative analysis of the chemical reactions in the body and how those affect the overall function of the body’s metabolic systems.

Integrating the best aspects of the ancient and modern diagnostics and therapies leads to a much deeper understanding of disease patterns as well as the most effective therapies to return the body, mind, and spirit back to real health. Life is a gift. Read on to learn how to cherish the gift of life and health.

The practice of Integrative Medicine incorporates traditional testing and analysis of the blood, urine, saliva, hair, stool, and DNA materials, as well as ancient diagnostic practices such as pulse, tongue, and hara diagnosis as is often practiced in Chinese Medicine. One of the forms of diagnosis that I practice in my office is a form of applied kinesiology called Quantum Reflex Analysis or ‘QRA’. This system uses a patented form of muscle testing called the Bi-Digital O-Ring Test or ‘BDORT’, which was developed by Dr. Omura.

Quantum Reflex Analysis

Eastern Medicine Meets Western Medicine - Doctor Kathy Veon - A Great Integrative Medicine & QRA (Quantum Reflex Analysis) Holistic Doctor that discusses this topic for your healing.QRA involves palpating the command center points on the body known as the ‘front mu’ and ‘back shu’ points in Chinese Medicine. These powerful points are the access points to reveal the overall function of all the organs and glands in the body, and also how they may hold up to ‘stress’. QRA can also be used to test and uncover subconscious emotional belief systems that can either help or hinder a person’s healing.

QRA integrates the science of quantum physics with acupuncture and kinesiology to form a powerful tool used to detect hidden infections, nutritional deficiencies, chemical exposure, and unhealed trauma from physical scars, as well as past emotional trauma. Not only does QRA detect which organs and glands need help, but it also reveals the correct herbs or nutrients as well as the exact dosage per day needed to fully correct the problem.

Nutrients are taken for a specific amount of time in specific doses and are not usually needed long term. Once the organ or gland is healed and functioning normally again, supplements are no longer needed. I’ve found that most chronic illnesses can be reversed in 6 – 8 months or less.

Some people have a tremendous amount of infection and toxins within their bodies and may need to take their therapy at a much slower pace to reduce the detoxification effect. Those who have the most patience and diligence and follow their program through to the end, experience the most profound and lasting healing.

Functional Laboratory Testing

Eastern Medicine Meets Western Medicine - Doctor Kathy Veon - A Great Integrative Medicine & QRA (Quantum Reflex Analysis) Holistic Doctor that discusses this topic for your healing.Traditional laboratory testing is often incorporated into the overall diagnostic testing performed on the first visit, but also to monitor the healing progress of a patient. Functional lab testing is a much deeper analysis of how lab values are ‘working together’ to show the root cause of disease and take preventive action to begin patient care years before serious illness can take hold and become difficult to treat.

Specialty lab tests can uncover exposures to environmental toxins such as mold, pesticides, chemicals and solvents, heavy metals, parasites, and other infectious exposures. Nutrigenomic testing reveals how a person’s body utilizes nutrients based on genetic factors including mutated genes.

Each gene in our body is responsible for a metabolic action. When a gene is mutated, the metabolic action controlled by that gene may not be performed as needed. Over time, the body will develop a state of disease or ‘unbalance’ due to poorly functioning metabolic pathways.

Emotional Therapy

For as many successful patients who follow their healing program through to completion, I also have patients who quit too soon, or who do not follow their plan as prescribed. They miss out on reaching their goal, which is unfortunate. I do find that past emotional traumas play a big role in self-sabotaging behavior. I work with patients to effectively clear unhealthy beliefs at the subconscious level by using EVOX Perception Reframing and also acupuncture treatments that focus on mental and emotional healing.

Once the patient clears that past emotional trauma at the deepest level, they find it much easier to do what is healthy for them and are very successful at regaining their health, as well as healing many other areas of their lives. They become more confident and can make better choices for themselves. It’s truly a beautiful transformation to witness!

Integrative Medicine incorporates both modern and traditional diagnosis and healing therapies, as well as the understanding that we are integrated beings…..mind, body, and spirit. We cannot truly heal if we do not recognize everything it means to be human and bring all the aspects of ourselves into a state of coherence and balance.

My goal as a healthcare practitioner is to help patients truly heal and get back to living a good life. Modern healthcare is really more like ‘sick-care’ in that ‘diseases are managed’ instead of ‘humans being healed’. Healing is the goal. Integration is an important key to achieving that goal.
